1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Pichr, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.
2. Service Description
Pichr is a UK-based image hosting platform that allows users to upload, store, and share images. We provide free and paid subscription tiers with varying storage and bandwidth quotas.
3. User Obligations
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pichr. By using this service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
3.3 Lawful Use
You agree to use Pichr only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You will not use the service to upload, store, or distribute illegal content.
4. Prohibited Content
You may not upload or share content that:
- Violates any law or regulation, including UK Online Safety Act 2023
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Promotes terrorism or violent extremism
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Harasses, threatens, or abuses others
- Contains spam or unsolicited commercial content
5. Content Moderation
We employ automated and manual moderation systems to detect and remove prohibited content. Content flagged as potentially harmful will be reviewed by our moderation team. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Service Limitations
6.1 Quota Limits
Free accounts are limited to 5GB storage and 50GB bandwidth per month. Pro accounts receive 100GB storage and 1TB bandwidth. Enterprise accounts receive 1TB storage and 10TB bandwidth. Exceeding your quota will prevent new uploads until you upgrade or the quota resets.
6.2 Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.
6.3 Content Retention
Uploaded images are retained indefinitely unless deleted by the user or removed for policy violations. Inactive accounts (no login for 2 years) may have their data archived or deleted.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
7.1 Payment
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All prices are in GBP and include applicable VAT.
7.2 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
7.3 Changes to Pricing
We reserve the right to modify our pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified 30 days in advance of any price changes and may cancel before the new pricing takes effect.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to content you upload to Pichr. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms, particularly for uploading illegal content, repeated policy violations, or fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your content may be deleted.
10. Limitation of Liability
Pichr is provided on an as-is basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
11. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
